Before you ponder on the ordering from X10.com, please beware of the
followings:

1. X10.com sale tactic is "BAIT-N-SWITCH". That means they would promise
more than they would deliver. Once you fall into their trap, expect a
"change of face". The salesman or saleswoman would tell you any thing to
get you to buy the the product, then expect great disappointment when
you get to use the products, of which quality isn't part of the package.

2. They claim "free shipping" but the "free" option means it would take
more than 2 weeks to arrive. However, the so-called "30-day money back
guarantee" starts on the day you place the order - not when you receive
the items! This means you would only have less than 2 weeks to try out
the products.

3. Post-sale customer service is notoriously horrific! Just read the
reviews from resellerratings.com on this company. Long wait on the phone
and rudeness are typical when you try to contact X10.com

4. The company is run by a bunch of sleazy scumbags. Just look at their
website at www.x10.com and judge for yourself.

Customer service at X10.com is more than HORRIBLE!

I agree with you that they practice "bait-and-switch" tactics in the most
sleazy way. They advertise 30-day money back guarantee, but when it comes
to it, they tried every possible tactics to delay giving you the RMA.
X10.com is the worst company I've dealt with this year. The only people
you could reach is the salesrep, who would give you a run-around and just
waste you time.

Like the original poster, I would NOT recommend X10.com to any one.
