From: Paul Michaels on 21 Dec 2009 15:55 I'm going on a trip soon and I hated the idea of lugging along my 6 pound Toshiba A105 15.4" laptop like I've done in the past. I wanted a "netbook" sized computer but they all seemed to be underpowered with the single core Intel Atom processors. The Acer Aspire AS1410-2285 that I got has a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 2gb ram and a 160gb hard drive. I took pictures of the unboxing, wrote a review and did some Passmark benchmark tests on the computer. Here's the gallery page - http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Acer-Aspire-AS1410-2285-Laptop-Computer-Review/index.html I think it's a very good computer for about $400. I wish it had bluetooth and a larger hard drive, but I can't complain that much. Cheers, Paul Michaels Fort Lauderdale, FL |
