Hello,
I'm just an occasional e-bay user(61 feedbacks), and 8 days ago I won an
auction, and pay-pall'ed the 20-odd quid at the time, but have heard nothing
at all from the seller.
I've looked at his feedback(87), it's all good, and sent a polite e-mail
enquiry after day 6. Of course, there could be any number of reasons for the
delay, and it's not a great deal of money, but what should one do, if having
paid via PayPal, nothing happens???

I would pull the contact details and phone up

If the number is invalid or you can not get any response over a day or two
then do to the dispute console and file an 'Item not received" dispute. You
have done all you can so it's then time to make it official, 8 days is
plenty time enough and there is no excuse for ignoring emails/messages.

Hello Dave, sorry to hear about the problem with your purchase on eBay.

You're right there could be any number of reasons, perhaps the item got lost
in the post or the seller made a mistake. Check the delivery time guideline
on the listing.

If the seller hasn't yet replied and you can't resolve it by communicating,
then you can open an Item Not Received dispute through eBay, 3 days after
the delivery time guideline.

All purchases made using PayPal are fully covered and if the seller isn't
able to provide the goods or proof of delivery, PayPal will refund you in
full. The seller will have up to 10 days to respond.

If the seller is able to provide of delivery and the items have been lost
in the post, you will be able to claim from Royal Mail by filling in a claim
form on their website at www.royalmail.com

Hope that helps, if you need any assistance please get in touch.

Thanks for the reply Niel. Seller did contact me claiming computing
problems, and I've recieved the goods.
