I've had an email today saying they can't supply the original
one, but they're going to send a different one with a digital
cartridge thingy and a filter.

Anyone else had the same?

Nope, both my Mum & I were lucky enough to get ours at the start of the
month. At least they are still going to send you something which is good
news!
