Lidl were selling "Balance" brand ones not that long ago again, less
than I tenner I think.

I have one, bought off eBay a couple of years back, the same ones Lidl
have, and they are very good, paid around 5 for it.

These ones and the ones around 10 do the job just as dearer ones.

Some Dr or other was on BBC Radio WM some months back and said the ones
for around 10 or under were fine, he did mention the ones in Lloyds.

He also said using these give more reliable results that when you go to
the Drs, because when you visit the Dr you are usually stressed.

Item No: 270079175457 on eBay is the one I have, the ones sold in Lidl.
(Not my listing).

with a plastic case/box to put the monitor in after use, I think they no
longer come with this and you just get the monitor itself.

I suggest you have a peek at the list of approved devices at the British
Hypertension Society. Devices on the list have been tested for accuracy...

Beat me to it but ditto if you are serious about it.

I am happy with a A&D UA-767 which can be had for around 40 in sales.
