From: R Kannan on 22 Jun 2008 10:21 Hello, I have a Kohler bath tub drain plug (1997-8) in my bathrooms. See picture below: http://www.geocities.com/rkannan55/100_0261.JPG It is closed by rotating it (clockwise or counter-clockwise) and it falls into place retaining water. I need to remove it for clearing blockage and I seem to have forgotten how to do it. Rotating or pulling it out does not seem to help. I do not have the model # but the drain coverplate has the word 'Gerber' on it. Any hep is appreciated

You'll have to get down and peer at the underside of the disk which seals the drain to see and access it. -- Bert Hyman St. Paul, MN bert(a)iphouse.com

I have a tub with one of those and it always get plugged up. Apparently no one at Kohler washes their hair. I ended up just not tightening the screw so it can easily be removed.
