Ever read one of the news sites?, and I mean the ones that just don't have big screaming headlines to pander to the fools who are always looking for someone else to blame for everything. -- Regards, David. Big deal.

That the bulk of the increase in NSW electricity charges will be used to fund ETS is in the NSW treasury estimates. The ETS has been voted down but no-one in NSW Labor has withdrawn the massive hikes in tariffs. In fact, Keneally claimed that the hikes were due to cost increases. In fact, the price of coal has fallen and wages have only risen in line with CPI. So where are these cost increases? It appears that there is a government-within-government, pulling strings in the background, e.g. CHARGING US FOR ETS-DRIVEN ELECTRICITY INCREASES EVEN THOUGH THE ETS HAS BEEN VOTED DOWN. When the party in power cannot be trusted, there is no point in paying any attention to their policy because their policy is DISHONESTY. The only thing to do is to VOTE THEM OUT. > > Ever read one of the news sites?, and I mean the ones that just don't have > big screaming headlines to pander to the fools who are always looking for > someone else to blame for everything. > The NSW budget estimates did not appear on any news sites. The media are asleep on this issue.

Why on earth do you think it's somehow linked to the ETS? MrT. |
