Just left feedback for a seller.

In addition to the comment and star ratings it also asked:

How do you rate your experience with this seller?
This extra question helps us evaluate our sellers. Your answer and comments
do not appear on eBay.

Then it allows me to rate the service on a scale from 0 (Awful) to 10
(Outstanding)

Followed by:

Describe your buying experience. Did you receive a good service? Would you
buy from this seller again?
Then a 250 character text box.

Whats this all about? Anybody know?

It is a random test for the proposed new feedback system they are going to
introduce in the future. When leaving feedback for sellers the system
randomly chooses transactions to apply it to.

Thanks Niel. That explains it.

Although allowing free format text does seem to be making things difficult
for themselves.

I don't think it is random. I've been having it pop up for weeks now but only
for business sellers.

I have never had it. PS forums report people getting it sporadically.
