Can see you becoming very much sought after.
Have you given any thought to the profit you could make by auctioning
that phone number?

I just wondered if ebay had acted on the OP's original complaint at the same
time you were complaining, I see that was not the case.

Sorry to be predictable.

Well I would gladly give it away but when you phone it the first thing you
hear is a message stating that it is an "invitation only" number and they
ask for full security details before they will discuss anything. I still
think it is worth phoning eBay rather than emailing. In your case it was
such a blatant thing when I rang them I told them I was considering buying
and checked the feedback to see what sort of eBayer you were. A white lie
but justified in the circumstances. They agreed that such feedback was quite
unacceptable. I must say I was taken aback at the speed with which they
acted.

Just had an email from ebay (about 10 hrs after feedback removal)
stating:

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your Feedback concerns.

After reviewing your request, we found that the Feedback met the
requirements for removal under our Feedback Removal Policy and have
removed it.

Due to system updating, your Feedback score may not reflect this
removal
for 24 hours.
