Can vinegar damage a DW heating element? Noticed some damage to my Whirlpool Gold Silent Partner III dishwasher this morning. Some of the white has chipped off the heating element. The guy at the parts place put a meter on them and said the fan cap was on its way out and the compressor cap was kaput. Is A/C capacitor supposed to look like this? How do you know it's the cap? You have to start with the basics first. When you turn down your t-stat to turn on the A/C, the contactor should click closed. If it doesn't, you have to look at that first. ... 8 May 2010 01:34
ok for hot/cold to mix in shower cutoff valve?
