From: midwest_46 on 26 Oct 2009 01:05 Recently, I bought the following DVD at a Target store in Chicago: Michael Jackson Video Greatest Hits. This DVD is supposed to contain 10 of Jackson's music videos. Well, the "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" videos have grainy video quality. Also, the 9-minute, 30-second version of the video for the song "The Way You Make Me Feel" is VERY grainy, especially between the 4-minute mark and the 6-minute mark. Has anyone purchased this DVD and had the same problem? Target's policy is that, if a DVD has been opened, the DVD can only be exchanged for another copy of the same DVD. Is there a chance that another copy will have better quality? Or will all copies have the same bad quality? Thanks for any information. Please post all responses to the newsgroup.

Take it back and exchange it. Seems like you have nothing to lose since the one you have now has unacceptable video qua;ity. Keep bringing them back until you get a good one, or they tire of seeing you and offer you a refund or a store credit.

Corse I have. It doesnt produce that symptom, just a couple of the items grainy. That is due to the source being grainy.

That is due to the source being grainy. Also, "laser rot" occurs over a long period of time. My Michael Jackson DVD is something I bought only recently. Regards, Alex K. |
