Those are the only electric razors I've had, but then I didn't shave until I was 34. They seem fine, but I have no real comparison. I did try a non-rotary electric and I found it awful. I'm not sure the blades stay sharp as long as they should, I get the feeling they don't shave as well not that many years after buying. I got my first one in 1993 (only 2 heads) and then bought another one two or three years ago because I wanted to try a 3 head and it wasn't that much more (on sale at Christmas) than a new set of blades). I note the later one is significantly lighter, and isn't as noisy, which suggests it's not as "powerful" but perhaps it's simply that they've made it lighter and quieter. The second one says "Made in China", I don't recall that on the first one. I'd like them better if the replacement blades were more reasonably priced (when I bought a set in 1997, I'm sure they were about $20, which is half the $40 I paid for the first razor in 1993.
