I need to move an upright freezer. The only available vehicle to acomplish
this is a van, so I would have to lay the freezer down. Is this OK

The problem with laying it down is that the oil runs out of the compressor
while it's on its back. As long as it stands upright long enough for the oil
to run back where it belongs, you won't harm it. So go ahead and move it lying
down. Then leave it standing up for 24 hours before you plug it in. It'll be
OK.
