What is the largest SD (not SDHC) card currently available, and from where

You would be better learning how to use a web browser and some of the
search sites available. This method will save you a lot of time and
appearing
a bit dim. There are hundreds of online retailers and lots of highstreet
shops
selling such items. How would you check on the answers given? Think about
that for a while and use this approach first - it will help you think a bit
more.

I have done so. Some sites, such as the SD association, which I would hope
to be the authority on such matters
http://www.sdcard.org/developers/tech/sdcard/ tell me authoritatively that
2GB is the largest, but others tell me that 4GB is, I was hoping for answers
from people who use this group and have purchased such items for their own
use and gan give a recommendation based on experience. I have not yet found
a site that sells 4GB cards in SD format, only SDHC. Your post did not
answer my question, did not point me to a particular site where my question
is definitively answered, did not tell me where I could buy large capacity
SD cards and did not give me a recommendation on your experience of their
use. I could save a lot of time going by a recommendation from here rather
than trawling through site after site looking for one. You could have saved
yourself a lot of time by not bothering to post.

I had to check the info that came with my old PDA- the problem with SD cards
is they are formatted with fat 16 which limits the storage to 2gb +- sdhc
uses fat32 so that limit no longer applies there is a dude from HKG that
sells on Fleabay who advertises 8gb as SD but I suspect if you try to run it
on a device that reads fat16 only that 2gb limit will apply and the card
will turn out to be an HC in any case.
Play.com have 2gb mini sd with adapter for �4.99 delivered
or if you prefer Amazon have a few vendors selling at �3-50 with free
shipping.(?)
