Is there any way to deter mice from coming in a house (besides cats - we
have four of them)? Also, how do we get rid of the mice already in the
house? Thanks.

They will not come in if there is no entrance.

Had mice in the attic, and they will climb up the brick and find a hole along
the roofline.

Shotgun.

Find, and plug, the holes through which they are entering. And don't leave
food out for them.

Nothing beats the good old Victor snap trap. The best bait is a fresh raisin,
crushed onto the bait pan. They can't tug it off without springing the trap.

Mice can get in from extremely small entrances.

Good suggestion - but they keep coming in - even though I have four cats.
