Fran

Not sure why you want to candidate Camdor for the BBL.

Looking at the OP, the refund was made without an explanation, surely not
good practice even if it was an honest mistake of listing twice. The OP was
also worried regarding being presented with a NPB so the experience was not
more than just inconvenience through a mistake that was rectified by the
seller.

Of course everyone can make mistakes even good sellers, but good sellers
will make less than bad sellers so if a good seller gets a neutral for that
mistake it shouldn't harm them as they wont get many.

I do though agree that when something goes wrong, lost/damaged in post with
sufficient packaging and resolved by the seller then a pos should still be
given.

Regards

Toby

It was the cited reason: "I would neg them for wasting my time."

That's what gets Camdor on the BBL.

Seconded. Not only is the OP still has not given us the full story with
regards to the seller's explanation but are demonstrating that they are a
vindictive and petty little tosspot to boot.

We do not know that. The Ebay message system is notorious for being broken
and not sending anywhere near all messages sent through it by email to
recipients so for all we know the seller could have messaged a response
which simply was not passed on by Ebay - or else filtered out by the OP's
spam filter (or that of their ISP). As it is the OP has given half a story
and demonstrated that they are basically the sort of buyer to be avoided.

These days a neut is almost as bad as a neg. Also I would think it is dafe
to assume that the OP would probably trash the seller's DSR star ratings
along with the poor feedback which is far more harmful than a simple comment
as it can directly impinge on the seller's "status" - search placings,
Paypal holding funds for 21 days, Ebay fee discounts and so on.

Sadly EBay has instilled a general level of fear amongst sellers that they
come across buyers like this who hide their vindictiveness behind a cloak of
supposed vigilantism in "warning other buyers about this seller". Ebay has
effectively empowered buyers with the power to have a direct effect on
someone's business - but that's another whinge.

My point exactly.
