From: Matthew.Ridges on 10 Aug 2010 12:04 Basically ordered 2 tyres off ebay. I didn't receive them after about 2 weeks. I queries it with the unhelpful seller who said he sent them so I should have them soon. I started a case on ebay, he provided me wih a tracking number and a courier company. I called the courier company who said it was a failed delivery and they have it at there depot. So I arranged delivery for monday, I stayed in and waited for it and it did not turn up again. So got back to the seller via the resolution system and they have not said a word as of yet, there normally respond within 20 minutes. The tracking number sauys its been delivered on the 2nd of August obviously not to me. So now what can I do as its all gone horribly wrong and the seller is not responding. Were talking �65 goods value aswell, so a lot to just let it go. Thanks

Does the tracking info state that the tyres were delivered to your address?

Hang on I'll copy and paste: 02/08/2010 10:29:00 ON VAN The parcel has been loaded on to the drivers van 02/08/2010 20:25:00 DEPOT The parcel has been delivered 02/08/2010 20:26:00 DEPOT The parcel has been despatched from depot The seller says the tracking number states its been delivered but hes not understanding that it hasn't. No sure how it says its been delivered at 8.25pm and then at 8.26 despatched from depot. All turning in to a headache which the seller has gone mysteriously quiet now and I'm out of pocket. I'm worried that as he provided tracking that paypal won;t refund me. Just wondering what to do now.

I'm guessing the seller thinks otherwise. I'll go out on a limb and suggest that the case will be decided in your favour.

I've never left a negative on ebay in the 4 years I've been on it, but once I get refunded this will be the first as the sellers attitude is auwful. |
