If I was that concerned and happened to live within an hour of the
item's location, I wouldn't bother asking here; I'd go and take a
look.

If not, then I'd either not bid, or withdraw any bid I'd made, If I
had that much doubt.

If in doubt, avoid, surely?

It is indeed very nice, and I reckon I'll hav to bid higher. But he does
say it's the same bike in all the ix.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember totallydeadmailbox(a)yahoo.co.uk (The
Older Gentleman) saying something like:

I suspect the first pic is of the bike as he bought it, but the paint
has lost a bit of shine since. I notice those rear panels look a bit
matt, possibly resprayed. Might have been down on the rhs.
