From: Steve on 14 Mar 2007 20:50 After being told by both Verizon and Page Plus that it wouldn't work, naturally I ignored them and followed the advice of folks here that my Inpulse phone could be activated with Page Plus. Bought an activation on ebay for $5.99 and it works! The activation process is a complete mystery to me. Does anyone know the mechanics of it, why it takes 3-4 hours? And why wouldn't Page Plus do the activation themselves for free, since you'd be paying them for time on their network? I understand PP minutes are good for 120 days. Do I need to use the phone every 30 days to keep it active? Do the minutes roll over? Their web site ain't very helpful. Tried to send them email, the form asks for my Page Plus Number, which apparently is not my phone number, no idea what that is... -- The wages of sin are death, but by the time taxes are taken out, it's just sort of a tired feeling. ....Paula Poundstone
