From: Niaz Khan on 25 Nov 2006 04:29 Has anybody used the HDNL Service on Parcel 2 Go I can't figure out if this has a tracking option or not?
From: A C on 25 Nov 2006 07:21 We have used them quite a lot since they've introduce themselves on P2G They do have a Tracking option on their own website (www.hdnl.co.uk) Only problem so far, Driver placed the bar-coded labels on the wrong parcels & delivered them to the addresses on the label rather than invoiced addresses, so make sure that they're correct when the driver sorts them. -- A C http://AbbeyCross.co.uk Delete REMOVE to Reply

I haven't used HDNL to send parcels myself, but have had Amazon and others use them to send items to me and they (in my area and families areas) are dreadful. It's often people with their own cars (not even vans) who deliver the items, I've had the parcelforce/royal mail stunt of them leaving the items in the dustbin on the days of collection as well as luckily non-days of collection, other times when I've been in they didn't even knock the door / ring the bell and simply threw a "we called..." card out on the path! It was only when we couldn't wait in any longer for the delivery we noticed the card on the path outside. Other times they've left parcels on the door step or next to the bin.

They probably get paid per delivery and rely on people not complaining so earn quite a bit of money before being sacked.
