Even if DSR was applicable in this case, which it isn't, you're wrong -
the buyer only has to notify the seller of his intention to return the
goods within 7 _working days_, not actually return them. And that only
if the seller has fulfilled his obligations under DSR to inform the
buyer of his rights, otherwise he has longer (a month? two? I forget).
