I bought the Vtech T2326 Cordless Phone from Wal-Mart and about a week
after I started using it the battery suddenly would die after about 5
minutes of use. I also noticed that the power supply (brick, wall-
wart) that plugs in to the wall was always VERY WARM.

I exchanged it for another one of the same model and this time not
only was it's power supply always very warm but the battery started
dying after 5 minutes of use after the 2ND DAY!

There must be something wrong with either the power supplies or the
batteries on the current batch of these phones.

That last is normal with modern power supplys.

Because that is normal with modern power supplys.

Nope.

Or the connection to the battery more often.
