Secondly, I was making the point that an inadequate item description
as well as a poorly-chosen auction time-out can cost a seller dear.

Trouble is, that's eBay's auto-fill in action. I've seen it. It asks you
for the reg number. You don't have to provie it, but if you do, then it
accesses a database and comes up with (in this case), Honda, yellow.
