The buyer also has an obligation to act reasonably in the event of a problem. Basically what you are saying that a buyer who pays, receives the goods and then does a chargeback or bounces their payment should get positive feedback? Or various other scenarios where a buyer can be an idiot and undeserving of positive feedback. I don't know about other high volume sellers but for me it is just a case of being far more convenient to click on item numbers from positive feedbacks left in my feedback list and reciprocate the feedback left for me than go hunting through the list of sold items in My Ebay looking for listings each time an item gets paid for.

Does selling on "eBay (a lot)" elevate you to some mythical supreme status? Didn't Microsoft regally shaft you anally recently despite they had no real grown up evidence that would have stood up in a UK court? And you rolled over, paid up and apologised? Be quiet establishment stooge and never post here again. Shame on you.

Ye Gods, the one has nothing to do with the other!! To my mind the transaction is not over until the buyer is happy, ie has left feedback. Then I leave feedback. No buyer feedback, no feedback from me. PDS --- news://freenews.netfront.net/ - complaints: news(a)netfront.net ---

What is important is that I get good service and the product I have purchased. Now talking about feedback, it is based on the experience of the sale and this is only completed when any possible problem is completed, so although I hate the thought of possible retalitaries still believe feedback from both sides should be left after either the purchase or dispute has been completed. I also believe though that no party should ask or expect feedback at all. Toby
