Well, at least now you admit that my listing was quite clear. > How do you explain the winning > bidder still thinking there was a camera inside the box if your > listing was so clear? This would be the winning bidder that emailed me immediatly after the auction ended saying he made a mistake, the same buyer who called themselves an idiot for making that mistake and the same buyer who in further emails said, and I quote, "you listing was quite clear. Text described a lens and front lens cap. Picture showed a lens and front lens cap. Fuckwit then tries to get me to pay him so that he can buy the correct rear lens cap that wasn't included.

If the buyer is paying for p&p, who cares what it costs? And always using recorded delivery (or similar) is a good policy, IMHO. Sooner or later something is going to go missing, and being able to wave some sort of tracking form, recorded delivery form, whatever could easily fend off a neg from an irritated buyer. I know that there's Proof of Postage but my experience is that not all buyers are actually aware of its existence. But *everyone* knows about recorded delivery. -- BMW K1100LT Ducati 750SS Triumph Street Triple Honda XBR500 CB400F SH50 MZ TS250 GHPOTHUF1 chateaudotmurrayatidnetdotcom Nothing damages a machine more than an ignoramus with a manual, a can-do attitude and a set of cheap tools |
