I don't want to use my own free webspace, I worry about reliability of it.

Can anyone recommend any picture hosting services ?

Automatic resizing of images would be good, like the way eBay have
'Standard', 'Preview' and 'Thumbnail'.

Happy to pay for a decent service, reliability being paramount.

I'm really after a quality hosting solution.

What about flickr or photobucket?

Cheers, I'll have a look.

I thought photobucket was a free, and heavily used, service, I'll see if
they offer any commercial services.
