From: Bob Scott on 30 Mar 2010 17:20 Bah, SWMBO just asked me to list an old bridesmaid's dress her mother found at the back of a wardrobe. So we took pictures of it, wrote a description, carefully packed it up & calculated the postage (5.15) then realised that ebay brought in maximum postage rates of 4 for the wedding clothes category yesterday. I'm all in favour of avoiding rip off postage rates but setting a maximum less than the cost of posting the item? Not helpful. That'll be a bridesmaids dress going on gumtree. hmmmph. -- Bob Scott

Not helpful. Use a starting price including postage you're happy to sell it for or instead of selecting "Flat: same cost to all buyers" select "Courier: heavy and bulky items" then specify you're own postage. |
