if you have an iPhone DON'T UPGRADE TO 1.1.1, otherwise you will
probaly *never* be able to use the hacks to enable use on other
networks or 3rd party apps. If iTunes gives you a "friendly" reminder
that a new update to the iphone is available and if you want to
install it JUST SAY NO!

Note that in the near future, iPhones will most likely be sold with
1.1.1 already installed in which case you are screwed.

Works without problem on my iPhone. Who wants to waste time changing to
another network- the only one being T-Mobile? And who cares about 3rd
party apps when Apple has some excellent apps which will be incorporated
free over the next almost 2 years.

I am not willing to bet an expensive device on the hope that someone
might be able to crack the draconian firmware.

Yeah, keep telling yourself that. In the mean time, people who are
smart won't make that assumption. I don't put faith in companies, and
anybody with a clue wouldn't either.

DON'T DO THIS! It's not needed, and if you DO want to be able to add
software to your phone someday, you won't be able to do so if you
install this "upgrade".

Are you paid by Apple or ATT to write this?
